Robert H. Harrison

Robert (Bob) Henry Harrison, Sr., known to those who love him as “PaPa”, passed away peacefully in his home with family by his side on Saturday August 12, 2017. Born in Winnsboro, Texas April 5, 1923 to Lloyd T. Harrison and Birdie Massey.

In 1941, he graduated from Winnsboro High School and wasted no time marrying Helen, his high school love, in April 1942. Together they had 4 children, 6 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Their marriage and life has been an inspiration to all who know them. He served in the Army for 3 1/2 years during WWII and worked for Coca Cola Bottling Co. for over 42 years. He was a Master Mason and a member of numerous professional and civic organizations.

PaPa will be remembered as a great man of faith man who loved Jesus and his family and friends immensely, and was well loved and respected by everyone.

Preceded in death by his parents, daughter JoAnn and son Robert Jr., and 16 brothers/sisters. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Helen, daughter Lisa and her husband BJ, daughter Trish and her husband Rick, 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and countless friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 between 12:30-2pm and funeral services being conducted at 2pm at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
