Robert Salazar Garcia

Robert Salazar Garcia, 91, born November 25, 1919 in Raymondville, Texas entered into eternal rest April 13, 2011. Robert is preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Sofia Garcia. He will be greatly missed by his son, David Garcia; daughter, Anna Morgan and husband Brian; grandchildren: Lisa Ann Miller and husband Jonathan, and John Allen Morgan; siblings: Diego Garcia and wife Donna, Fred Garcia and wife Katie, Luis Garcia and wife Dora, Uvaldo Garcia and wife Nena, Udelia Garcia, Conrado Garcia and wife Elisa, Ramiro Garcia and wife Lucille; sister-in-law, Paula Ramirez, along with many nieces and nephews. Robert was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was very dedicated to his job and family. He distilled hard work in his children and wanted his children and grandchildren to have opportunities that he never had. He thought education was the way to get them. Visitation will be Sunday, April 17th from 6-8PM with a Rosary beginning at 7PM. Funeral Services will be 1:30PM, Monday, April 18th. Both services will be held at Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
