Robert Edmond Furman

His parents were James Lewis and Eula Faye Furman. He was a graduate of Midland High School and Texas Wesleyan University. Bob served in the US Army Reserves. He was employed by VF Corporation for 32 years working for both the Lee Company and Wrangler Jeans. Bob was a lifelong baseball fan. One of his greatest joys in life was coaching little league.

Bob is survived by his wife Liz and their two children Michael and Christina Furman. He is also survived by his son Lang Zimmerman and his two children Richard and Sloane Zimmerman, MD and one grandchild Zane Zimmerman. Bob’s sister Pat Scanlon, his brother James and wife Dayna Furman. Numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sister & brother in law Mary & Norman Wilson and Cathy Baldwin & Carol Fireng.
