Robert James Cooper

Mr. Robert James Cooper was born on October 22,1945 in Ft. Necessity, Louisiana to the Late Jesse & Mary Ellen Cooper. Robert attended public school. Following high school, he joined the Army and became an air craft mechanic. After leaving the army he had several mechanic jobs and in 1985 Robert started Tiger's Town Car Service. Robert own and operated Tiger's Town Car for 30 plus yrs.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister and 5 brothers.

Robert met Velma at an early age and after high school married on October 14, 1965 with whom he celebrated 52 blessed years. In this union 3 kids were born: Angela (Odis) Buchanan, Sonya(ReRe) and Gregory (Tiger) Cooper. Robert was blessed with his first born Warren(Bonita) Jones. Five Grandchildren LaMarcus Jones, Jasmine Cooper, Danitra (Jason) Phillips, Crystal Cooper and Andrew Jenkins. Three Great-Grand Children Elijah (Tank), Laiyah, and Cali. Sister Lenner B. Toliver. Four God Children: Jeffrey, Keiisha, Jalen and Tierre. One God Grandchild Ashlyn and host of other family and friends.

Robert has left a great legacy of PROVIDING for his family and was always willing to help others. His greatest joy was telling his grandkids and great grandkids about his upbringing and the importance of education.
