Robert (Bobby) Alan Boyd, 78, entered eternal rest on February 24, 2024 in Houston, Texas. He was born August 14, 1945 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Bernia & Dorothy Boyd.
On October 3, 1969, he married Barbara Kieschnick. Bobby worked as an Airport Shuttle Driver. He enjoyed woodwork, fishing, and hunting.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara Boyd; daughter, Shannon Boyd; grandchildren: David Hill & wife Alicia, Roxana Powell & husband Eric; great grandchildren: Isabella, Diesel, Nova; brother: Ben Boyd & wife Charlene; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will begin on Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 6pm-8pm. Funeral service will be held Monday, March 4, 2024 at 10am at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway Houston, Texas 77039. Interment to follow immediately after the funeral service in Brookside Memorial Park.
