Robert LaRue Baker Sr. was brought into this world on April 1, 1939. He was one of 6 children born to the union of his parents Powell and Loraine Dockery On April 1956 Robert Sr. joined the United States Army and served honorably for 3 years. In 1961 he reenlisted and honorably served our country for another year in the United States Army. He ended his service in March 1962. After military service, Robert Pursued a career in Law Enforcement first with the Harris County Constables Department later joining the Harris County Sheriffs Department where he later retired in April 2004. On October 1, 2017 Robert was called to return home to the lord where he was received with welcoming arms by his brother Kenneth, his sister Erma, his mother and father Powell and Loraine Dockery, and his granddaughter Katrina Lashae, in the sky.
