Robert Fowler Atwood

He attended the Parrish School, Second Baptist School, Houston Christian High School and was a 2005 graduate of Texas A&M. Robert loved computers and helping people. He worked for SBISD as a computer technician and was currently working as a freelance computer technician.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frances and Bob Fowler, and H. Kirby Atwood. Robert will be lovingly missed by his family: mom, Nancy Atwood; brother, H. Kirby Atwood III, his Amy and their daughter Hadley; dad, H. Kirby Atwood, Jr., and his wife Peggy; and grandmother Margaret Atwood Couch. Other family members include Susan and Lenoir Josey II, Lenoir Josey III, Kathryn and Neil Stone and their triplets Caroline, Grace and Campbell, Ellen and Bruce Robinson, Maggie Robinson Moul, and Bill and Kate Robinson and their son Liam.

Robert had a tender, caring heart for everyone he met and always put others before himself. He will be remembered for his quick wit, perseverance and intelligence. Robert had a fondness for animals, a love for technology and an abundance of creativity. He was an unwavering friend, an adoring son and a loyal brother.

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude and memorial contributions in Robert’s name be directed to the Church of St. John the Divine, 2450 River Oaks Boulevard, Houston, TX, 77019; or to the charity of one’s choice.
