Bob was always, and is a role model for a father.  He put his wife and girls first and  was respected for this.  A handsome, cheerful man with a soft laugh and a great sense of humor, a man who liked to have fun and share good times with friends is the way I remember him.  A deeply loyal individual to his beliefs and his church and a love of his wife Helga's German heritage.  Oh we miss but cherish those joyful moments dancing, swimming, celebrating and living with the Archambault family.  God blessed him and us.

I met Bob 49 years ago..He interviewed me for a job at Airlift International at JFK Airport N.Y. It was  very short interview. Basically I told him my name, showed him my DD-214, and he said "here's the job, do you want it or not.?." As a Marine I was very familiar with the Top Sgt manner.. In 1972 When the company opened an office in Houston Bob accepted the position of Manager.and moved his family. About 6 months later Bob reached out to all stations to recruit experienced hands..
I decided to visit Houston and Bob. Bob gave me a tour of subdivision homes, and insisted I spend the night at his home and I met His wife Helga and 3 Beautiful little girls.and his dog Kuno. We played TWISTER That night.
Bob was a tough Drill Sgt. but always fair. We became good friends and shared many Fun Times. We spent a lot of time at St.James, We joined the St. James bowling league. or just sat outside by his pool or on the driveway drinking a cold 1 or 2. 
Bob sponsored my son Danny at his Confirmation. We shared holidays when Helga cooked a beautiful Thanksgiving Goose.  About 11 years go I moved from Birnam Woods to a new home, but still kept up with Bob. I was a very sad day when Bob suffered a stroke and was confined to a wheelchair.
Bob lived a blessed life, Firm In his conviction to Christ, & Loyal to family. I feel Blessed to have known him all these years.
To Karen, Helga & Linda, We share your grief and also Rejoice Knowing your Dad no longer suffers and is now resting in the hands of Jesus Christ.

  I will always remember Mr. Archambault as a good man with a kind heart and smile.  I feel very blessed to have known him. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Archambault family in this difficult time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Helga and all of her family.  Mr Archambault was a good and decent man and truly loved by all who knew him.  He touched our lives and will be remember always.

Your presence will be greatly missed, but we will see each other again on the day the Lord returns. Prayers for all!
