Rita Sallans was one of the sweetest, kindest people on this planet.  Part of the group of neighborhood moms who kept us kids in line.  Condolences to the Sallans family.  No doubt they know how beloved Rita was to us all.

Rita Sallans set a beautiful example for all of us to live life to the fullest and love what each day brings.

Grandma Rita was an amazing lady.I was lucky to be friends of her granchildren and my fondest childhood memories are spending summers at "the farm". Grandma Rita had the gift of making anyone in her presence feel like family. I know she will be missed by anyone that had the pleasure of meeting her.

Mrs. Rita will be greatly missed.  Our condolences go out to her family during this time of sorrow.  Mrs. Rita was a great council and precious person.  She always took the time to listen and helped when and where she could.  We will surely miss her.  She was loved by the Arreola and Infante Family.

Aunt Rita was always very supportive and understanding of me. When I was little I never could tie my shoes and she was able to get this inherently clumsy kid to tie his shoes successfully.  Thanks for sharing with me Joseph and the Amazingly Colored Coat.  Her attitude about dealing with danger and living was remarkable after Charlie's death when she encouraged the kids to go surfing again.  I used this lesson in getting my oldest back on the ski slopes after a near fatal crash with lots of major broken bones.

Mrs. Rita was the most precious person. Always took the time to listen and tried to help when & where she could. So polite, loving, and caring for everyone. She accepted everyone for who they were. Lending a hand  to build you up if you were down. We will surely miss her so much.

Rita is such a joyous and caring spirit. She was a light that shone brightly on everyone she met. Her laughter, kindness, compassion, and joy for life never ceased to amaze me. She taught us how to live through her example. She will be missed here on earth but will always be with me in spirit. We love you Rita.

  Ms Sallans was one of the nicest people I have ever met. Growing up around the Sallans family, she has always welcomed me as one of the kids. Thank you for the laughs and comfort throughout the years. You will be missed.

Rita Sallans was not just a good neighbor but a wonderful friend.
I will miss you Rita so much.  I know you will never have to feel bad again.May you rest in peace.

Rita was a kind, caring lady with an infectious smile and laugh.  I felt priviledged to know her the last few months.  How she will be missed.

Rita was an mentor to me in the League of Women Voter's, I've missed seeing her these last few years.  She was chairing the committee on Domestic Violence for the LWV and helped set up the DV Unit in the DA's office. Thanks Rita.

Glad we got to know Rita.  She was kind, friendly and caring.  Always asked how our mom's were doing when we saw her.  Will miss seeing her at Sallans family and friend gatherings.
