Rita Jean Long, 82, passed away June 30, 2016 in Houston, Texas. She was born September 10, 1933 in Taylor, Texas. Rita is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Long and parents, Frank & Minnie Zycha. Left to cherish her memory, children: Mark Charles Long and Michael Thomas Long; grandchildren: Christy and Chris; great grandchildren: Mark Long and Baby Hailey; siblings: Frankie Zycha, Dottie Watts, Raymond Zycha, Mary Lou Becker, Eugene Zycha, Bernadette Vrana; other relatives: Mary & Burton Hayslip and Mozell Hutchinson. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 11:30am with a Rosary Service beginning at 12pm. Funeral Mass to follow at 1pm. All three services to be held at Assumption Catholic Church, 901 Rose Ln. Houston, Texas 77037. Interment to follow in Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
