Ricky was skilled in mechanic work. He would work on cars engines and bikes. He enjoyed a delicious meal and working in the yard. Ricky loved the Lord and was always ready to lend a helping hand. He will be truly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 6 brothers; and his younger sister.
Ricky is survived by his brother, Ronald Lee Chestnut; sister-in-law, Brenda Walters; many nephews, nieces, cousins,family and friends.
Serving as pallbearers are Michael Walters, Daniel Walters, Cody Walters, Roddy Lemmond, Michael Lemmond, Shawn Merice, Jimmy Bridges and Kevin Barger.
A visitation for Ricky will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 2:00 PM. A burial will occur Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Brookside Memorial Park.
