Ricky Lee Scott, age 62, of Llano, Texas passed away on Sunday December 15, 2019. Ricky was born June 14, 1957 in Texas to Charlene and Phil Scott. Ricky lived in Sheldon, Texas in his early years where he enjoyed being part of FFA, and raising lifestock. After graduation he attended the Houston Fire Academy and once completed, he spent his entire career with the Houston Fire Department where his job duties consisted of being a paramedic, firefighter, and an arson investigator. Ricky had plenty of hobbies, but his top two would have to be deer hunting, and fishing. He and his wife Maria Scott were proud members of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Llano, Texas
Ricky is survived by his spouse, Maria Scott; daughters: Barbara Pady, Elizabeth Deanda, and Alma Deanda; sons Eric Scott, and Adam Heath Scott; and brother Ken Baker Scott. Ricky also leaves 8 grandchildren that will cherish his memory always. Ricky was preceded in death by his parents Charlene and Phil Scott.
Visitation for Ricky will be held Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A chapel service will occur Friday, December 20, 2019 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, with burial to follow at Earthman Resthaven Memorial Park, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, Texas 77060.
Serving as pallbearers are Adam Scott, Eric Scott, Ken Scott, Billy Pady, Nathan Lloyd, and Kevin Brolan.
