Ricky Allen George

Ricky Allen George was born in Houston, Texas on February 23, 1960, and passed away on October 1, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. He left us far too soon and will be forever missed by those that cherished him.

Ricky is survived by his beautiful wife Pamela Folsom and their children Brandy Griffiths and husband Jason, Justin George and partner Kristina, Ashley Mellen and husband Justin, Michelle Bartusek and fiance Michael, Mark Glaug and wife Ronnie.

The joys of his life were his grandchildren Presley, Kaidence, Texas, Quinn, Adilynn, Lennon, Lane, Blakely, Ryan, Matthew, Anthony, Nicholas, Emily, Cassidy, Isaac, Abigail, and his very first great-grandchild James.

He will also be remembered by his dear siblings Angela George, Sheryl George Usimaki and husband Mike, Jimmy George and wife Carla, Grady Gaddis, and Donna Gaddis, along with countless cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jerry George and Sharon Simpson, grandparents Walter and Texas Simpson, and he was welcomed into Heaven by them and all of the other angels in his life who left before him.

Ricky was a Texan through and through. He was born and raised in Houston and never left for long. He enjoyed a good game of cards and watching sports, enthusiastically rooting for his favorite home teams. He was a cowboy at heart who grew up riding horses, and he loved to dress the part. Hunting and fishing were some of his favorite adventures to go on and tell stories about, and time spent outdoors with his loved ones made up his favorite memories. He cared deeply for his family and friends and will be forever in our hearts until we meet again.
