He was born in Houston, Texas on September 4, 1945. He graduated from Jeff Davis High School and attended South Texas College.
Richard is survived by his wife of 58 years, Donna, his sister-in-law, Cheryl Damewood, sisters, Linda Young, Dolly Brewer, Spring Brewer, and brother Tony Brewer, and a host of longtime friends.
Most of his working career was at Daniel Industries and later Emerson Process Management.
A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 12:00pm at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
