Richard Harold Stallings

Richard Harold Stallings, 43 of Houston, Texas, went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2018. Richard was born November 25, 1974, in Searcy, Arkansas, to James and Vera Whitehead Stallings.

He grew up in Beebe, Arkansas, and later moved to Lancaster, Ohio; Gretna, Lousiana; and DeRidder, Louisiana. He attended DeRidder High School and the Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts. Later he moved to Baton Rouge and attended Louisiana State University, where he obtained his B.S. in Management Information Systems.

In 1997 he moved to Houston and began his career in IT. Richard loved traveling, cooking, and woodworking, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his two sons.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Vera Whitehead Stallings; father, James Stallings; brother, Brent Stallings; and two sons, Wesley and Jackson Stallings.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church, 12955 Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas, 77079.
