Richard Louis Miller

An Army veteran of both WW II and the Korean War

Preceded in death by wife Helen Troxell Miller, daughter Helen Janice Miller, and Wife Beverly Truzet Miller

Survived by Dorothy Hulett, a loving companion for the past ten years; daughter Janet Miller Hock and husband Ben Hock; granddaughter Rebecca Hock Joines and husband Clint Joines, grandson Benny Hock, grandson Chris Sanders, granddaughter Carrie Sanders Pace, and great-grandson Jake Joines.

Following Richard's military service, Richard's career was maritime shipping on the Gulf of Mexico and the Mississippi River. He was employed by Lake Tankers Corporation, which later became National Marine Service.

Richard enjoyed boating, golfing, hunting, fishing and traveling. He was a fun loving person. Every day he loved sitting on the patio having a vodka tonic, enjoying life, and being with family and friends.
