Richard A. Martin Jr., 75, of Katy, Texas passed away on August 7, 2014. Richard was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling. He also enjoyed playing cards, dominos and chess. Richard never met a stranger and enjoyed flirting with all of the waitresses that he came in contact with. Left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 57 years, Phyllis, daughter Dolly and husband, Garrold Goodspeed, son Richard W. Martin, grandsons; Anthony, Jonathan and wife Rebecca and Thomas, three great grandchildren; Sidney, Chloe and Pierce as well as numerous other family members and countless friends. A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 5-9 PM with a funeral service taking place at 10 AM on Monday, August 11, 2014. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale. All services will be held in the Family Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale.
