Richard Neil Evans Jr.

Rick was born on September 12, 1970, in Houston, TX to his parents Gaye & Richard Evans Sr. When he was just 18, Rick decided to join the Navy and was stationed at Pearle Harbour, Hawaii aboard the USS Ingersoll DD 990, he was a Gas Turbine Mechanic. Rick received an honorable discharge from the Navy and returned home to join his dad in starting a small business. Rick and his dad were partners for over 25 years working to build a successful company together, Oil King Inc, located in Dayton, TX.

Rick is preceded by his parents, Gaye and Richard.

He is survived by his sister Christine Payne and husband Ken, nephews Brock Payne, Chase Payne and wife Perla, Kannon Payne, and Jackson Payne, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Brookside Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13401 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039 on Saturday, December 17th, 2022 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any of the following charities; The American Heart Association, The American Stroke Association or to your Local Animal Shelter.
