Richard Bruce Campbell was born to Frank and Dorothy Campbell in Joplin, Missouri on October 4, 1954. He passed away at age 60 on May 22, 2015 in Houston, Texas. In his early life, Richard achieved the title of Eagle Scout. He played High School football and later went on to graduate from Texas State Technical Institute. After college he worked as an automobile technician for many years. Richard enjoyed riding motorcycles, repairing automobiles, car racing, tinkering with mechanical devices, BBQ-ing, and socializing with friends. Richard was also a proud member of the San Jacinto Corvette Club.
Richard is survived by his loving companion, Jill M. Giullian, who took excellent care of him in his later life; sister, Pat E. Wientjes; brothers, James (J.C) and Cindy Campbell, William M. Campbell, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Forest Park Westheimer, with a rosary beginning at 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer.
