Reynaldo “Ray” Martinez Chapa passed away on April 12, 2018. He was born on January 25, 1961 in Houston, Texas to parents, Nicholas Arispe Chapa and Rosa Martinez Chapa. Ray was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Nicholas Chapa and sister, Juanita “Gigi” Sorola. He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Christina Chapa; daughters, Jennifer Chapa & Felicia Adams; sons, Reynaldo Mendoza, Robert Adams, Joseph Chapa, Raymond Adams and Jesse Adams; grandchildren, Andrew, Sophia, Adrian, Rosalee, Nathaniel, Bianca and Abel; sisters, Dora Hernandez, Rosemary Hernandez, Mary Lopez and Vivian Garcia; brothers, Guadalupe Chapa, Anthony Chapa and Jesse Chapa, as well as numerous friends and family members.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, April 16, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM; and a funeral service on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 12:30 PM in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home; with a burial to follow at Brookside Memorial Park and Cemetery, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
