March 9, 1970 - August 4, 2023
In loving memory of a dear husband, father, grandfather and son
Rene De La Fuente, age 53, admirable and devoted father of seven, Jaclyn, Jacob, Rene Jr., Ryan, Ricky, Raiden and his pride and joy Rayeli, and loving, caring, and enthusiastic husband to Yvonne Acosta of almost 32 years, passed away in the early morning hours of August 4th after suffering from a massive heart attack. Rene was born on March 9th, 1970 and grew up surrounded by numerous friends and family, he had 1 sibling, Marco, dear parents, Rene and Oralia De La Fuente.
Rene was influenced by his devoted Christian father to be a loving and caring man, always giving his time to others, and he incorporated that into his fatherhood. He met his wife Yvonne in 1991 during a sporadic visitation and they ended up together raising her 2 children and decided after a few years of being together to start their own. As a father, he was the most generous, extremely kind-hearted, any child could ever ask for. He was a tough love kind of dad, but they knew he truly, deeply, loved, all of his children. He spoiled them as much as he possibly could. Rene became a grandfather in 2009 and was absolutely thrilled to have had a total of 10 grandchildren.
Rene was a very hard working man and was always on the go. Whether it was his true affection for his car toys, he had 10 vehicles and always kept up with each and every one of them, to spending quality time with his children and grandchildren, to cleaning the pool, to mowing the lawn, to doing house chores, Rene did it all with such pride.
He will be immensely missed by his family, especially his wife and children, his many friends who became more like family who adore him with all of their hearts.
"We know that we can't have you but we're happy knowing that the angels have finally got you back. Farewell to a wonderful man, and a devoted father and husband."
Always remembered by his wife, 4 sons, 2 daughters, 10 grandchildren, mother, and brother. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Rene is preceeded in death by his father Rene De La Fuente Q., and his 1st born son Rene De La Fuente Jr., all of whom the world lost within 3 years of each other.
Dad is such a special word,
A word that brings to mind,
A big warm smile, a helping hand
A way of being kind,
Devotion to his family
A word of patience too.
"Dad" is such a special word
Because it stands for "You".
It's lonely here without you,
We miss you more each day,
For life is not the same to us,
Since you were called away.
To your resting place we visit,
Place flowers there with care,
But no one knows our heartache,
When we turn and leave you there.

With prayer service at 7:00pm
