On March 14, 1944, in Houston, Texas, a Beautiful baby girl, Regina Ann Hayes was born to John and Helen Hayes. Regina was baptized at an early age at Sunshine Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Reverend Hildert.
She attended Houston schools and graduated from Kashmere High School in 1963. Shortly after high school, Regina married and was blessed with two handsome sons, Marlon Keith Doyle and Marcus Kyle Doyle. Regina later gained employment with the Houston Independent School District in 1978, and dedicated 19 years to the Transportation Department. While working there, she met and acquired many friends, and some eventually were like family to her. Regina was preceded in death by her parents, John Hayes and Helen Cochran, her brother, Calvin Hayes, her nephews, Waymond Cochran and David Lee. She leaves to cherish her memory her two sons, Marlon (Yolonda) and Marcus (Shontell), two brothers, Cleve Cochran and Michael Cochran (Tamralyn), two sisters, Wilhemenia Zenon and Queen Esther Cochran, 8 Grandchildren, Brandon Alexander (JaMinna), Marlis Doyle, Mickaela Doyle, Mel Doyle, Mickenly Doyle, Montanna Doyle, Mar’Shay Doyle, and Marcus Kyle Doyle, II, 5 Great-Grandchildren, a special niece, Tamiko Cochran and 10 other nieces and nephews, 2 special cousins, Debra Carr and Tracey Carr and many other cousins and friends.
