Regan John Quintin Balzer

Regan was born on the 15th of April 1965 in Fresno, California, the son of Alvin and Karen Balzer. He grew up in the Houston, Texas area where he attended Bellaire High School and later, The University of Houston where he earned a BBA in Marketing. He also earned an ASL (American Sign Language) from Houston Community College.

At the time of his passing, he was an executive assistant for The Balzer Companies, a strategic business development firm. He will be greatly missed for his hard work and wonderful spirit. He also enjoyed teaching, especially the learning impaired. Regan was an active member in The Tea Party from its inception and was active politically in rallies and Tea Party activities. He was also a gun advocate and a member of the NRA.

Regan’s life passions included music, travel and a love for the sky whether it was astronomy, or flying or sky diving. Regan's gift of giving included such activities as volunteer work at the Shriner Hospital for Children in Galveston, TX, and supporting local animal rescues.

He is greatly missed by his family and is survived by his mother, father, two sisters, Kyra and Jeanette, and three nephews along with many extended family members, several being in Montana.

Regan requested and made it known to his family that in the case of his death, that a memorial party be held in his honor, instead of a conventional memorial service.
