Raymond Lewis

He attended and graduated from Jack Yates High School May 29, 1964. He was baptized at an early age. Raymond accepted his call to theministry and was ordained September 30, 2000 at True Faith Missionary

Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Ira Coleman.

He started his career at Harris County Hospital District as a Data Entry Specialist for several years. He worked for Sherwood Gardens for23 years as the Maintenance Manager.

On Tuesday, July 28, 2020, the Lord called Raymond home at the age of 74.

Raymond was preceded in death by his mother, Murdie D. Lewis; his sister, Barbara Ann Carter; and his aunts, Katie Brighter and Ollie Mae Dowl. He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Tiffany R. Lewis, and son, Nathaniel T. Harris, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
