Randy De'Jon Sampson

A bouncing baby boy with a big, bright smile was born on January 24, 1991 to Cassandra Denise Gamble and Arthur Sampson, Jr. and they named him Randy De'Jon Sampson. He attended schools in the Aldine Independent School District and grew up in the Acres Homes Community surrounded by his large extended family.

Randy followed his father into the Sampson tradition of raising and leveling houses and digging and repairing water wells. These skills are a part of an older tradition that few people possess in these modern times. His father often noted that Randy had a keen eye for finding the "low spots" in a floor that needed attention. His interest in these skills showed that Randy liked to find his own way. He wanted to be an entrepreneur and run his own enterprise rather than to a worker in a company.

He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Cassandra Denise Paige and Arthur Sampson, Jr., grandmother, Charlotte Anita Sampson, step-mother, Rosie-Price, son, Stephan, daughter, Kris, sisters, Erica Sampson, Monica Sampson Pannell and Kala Gamble, brother, Daniel Arthur Sampson, step-brothers, Charles Cain and Wilbert Williams, grandaunts, Linda Irving (John Lee), Brenda Irving (Sam), Mary Gamble, Orina Taylor (Booker T.), Gloria Smith (Samuel Crooks), Brenda Howard (Robert) and Katherine Stuart, granduncles, Raymond Gamble (Barbara) and Jimmy Lee Jones (Carolyn), aunts, Cathy Sampson, Janet Sampson, Elnora Gamble, Veronica Gordon and Clara Velasquez (Frank), uncles, Levi Gamble, Oscar Gamble and Johnny Jones and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Those he will be joining in Heaven are his grandmother, Virgie Lee Jones, grandfathers, Arthur Sampson, Arthur Sampson, Sr. and Johnny Lee Jones, uncle Michael Gordon and sister, Jasmine Wynn.
