Ramon was born to Benito Guillen and Francisca Vasquez Guillen, January 18, 1955, in Brownsville, TX. He graduated from Houston Technical Institute High School in 1974. He married Estela Benitez on November 21, 1992, and they lived together in Houston, Tx. Together they raised 4 children.
Ramon is survived by: His wife Estela Guillen, Mother Francisca Vasquez Guillen, Children Jonathan Ruiz, Stella Oviedo, Priscilla Goff, and Ramon Guillen II, and his grandchildren: Daisy Marie Oviedo, Isabella Grace Oviedo, Emma Rose Oviedo, Lina Maree Perez, Mia Jade Greening, Patience Goff, Avery Hope Guillen. He also leaves to cherish his memory to his siblings: Lucy Martinez, Benny Guillen, Freddy Guillen, Mary Guillen, Luis Guillen.Host of Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
He was preceded in death by His father Benito Guillen, and Brother Everardo Guillen.
Ramon Guillen served his community as a Houston Police Officer and contributed 34 years of service before retiring in 2018. He enjoyed building and constructing, he was the definition of: a jack of all trades, he loved BBQ’s and traveling to Mexico, He loved to watch the Houston Texans… lose and then win, but mostly lose. He was an Astros fan! But a die heart Houston Oilers Fan.
A Funeral Ceremony is scheduled for October 9, 2023, at Forest Park Lawndale. The family would like to thank everyone for their love and prayers.
