He was born in Mont Belvieu, Texas December 1936 son of Sidney Williams and Ethel Williams. Ralph married Linda (Moore) Williams October 7, 1972 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Parkersburg, West Virginia. He lived most of his life in Houston, Texas.
Ralph is survived by his wife Linda; children Christine Williams of Texas, Douglas (Marcella) Williams of Florida and Brian (Leila) Williams of Texas. Ralph leaves six grandchildren: Tyler, Courtney, Jackson, Catherine, Titus and Timothy, two great grandchildren: Travis and Mason along with his sister Betty Sue (Louis) Whistler of Texas and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 13 siblings.
He enjoyed working with his sons on the family vehicles keeping them in good repair and truly relished the time he had with his sons while teaching them mechanical skills. A true family man, he had a great sense of humor, a heart as big as Texas and was a generous person willing to help others. One of Ralph’s favorite past times was talking on the CB radio with local friends. He was well known as “Motor Mouth Ralph from the South”.
A celebration of life was held June 5th, 2020 at Southeast Church of Christ with family and close friends.
