Thanksgiving will always be bittersweet for me.  This was the last Turkey & potato salad you made. You don’t know how much of an impact you made, as my Madrina, my moms best friend and as my aunt. I miss you dearly. I can still hear your laugh… oh how I miss it.! I will never forget the conversations we had and I certainly won’t forget all the advice you instilled in me. Aunt Rachel, it hurts me so much to know you’ve passed away. I take great solace in knowing that you’re home with grandma and all of the brothers and sisters. I’ll always miss you and your laugh. You were always smiling and had such a bright personality. That being said I was always afraid to sit on your freshly made bed when I was kid. 😆I also knew better than to ask you if we could sit on big bird! IV and Caitlyn were the lucky ones when you allowed them to sit on big bird. The kids miss you already aunt Rachel. Weekend breakfast will never be the same. Until we meet again Tia. A piece of me has left with you. I’m going to miss those phone calls, laughs, crying and the venting . We never had any secrets from each other, don’t know how I’ll get along without you. You kept me straight when I was about to fall. You have always been there for me. You have always been a great sister and a best friend . I will have you in my heart always . Rachel, it was such a joy and pleasure to have had you as my supervisor, when I transitioned as one of the Receptionist at MSC. I will always remember your smile and kind words. I also remember when I worked the 10-7 shift you would text me to stop and get us tacos for breakfast. If I missed your text, when I would arrive at work, you would ask me to go get us tacos. If money was low you would give me your credit card, and if my funds were ok I would pay for us.  I'll always treasure those good memories with you @ MSC. Rest in Pease Rachel.

You had such a welcoming smile when I met you 18 years ago @ MSC.  You were so helpful and thoughtful & spoke such positive words.  I learned very soon that this was who Rachel Garza was.  I was very grateful for all your help. It was a pleasure knowing a person that was created to love, inspire, and to enjoy the life that God blessed her with.  Rest In Peace my friend Rosie Taylor
