Prather Lee Ward

Prather Lee Ward, 85, of Cameron, Texas, passed away on May 10th, 2024 in Houston, Texas at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Memorial City.

Prather Lee Ward was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Father: Pete Fritz Ward and Mother: Florence Flaudine Ledbetter Ward on July 14th, 1938. The family of (Prather Lee Ward) acknowledges with profound appreciation any personal kindnesses, thoughts and other expressions of love and sympathy during their hours of bereavement.

Prather Lee Ward was and is still considered a great man to his peers and family. Prather graduated from C.H. Yoe High School in Cameron, Texas. Then shortly joined the navy after high school from 1956-1960 as a machinist make to serve his country and see the world. To then be married to Mildred Adine Ward for 60 years.

Mr. Prather Lee Ward is survived by his two sons: David Lee Ward and James Edward Ward, four grandchildren: Chance Allen Lee Ward, Courtney Ashton Lea Ward, Camryn Ansley Ward and Redmond James Ward and 1 Great Grandchild: Lincoln David Reyes.

The Ward family will name a date, time and place for a memorial service for Prather Ward when possible.
