Ponciano Vasquez

Ponciano Vasquez Jr. was born 12/21/58 in Harlingen Texas and lost his battle to pancreatic cancer on 1/2/16. He served his country in the US Navy as a medical corpsman, and was a registered Chef. He was a voracious reader and loved movies and music. He was the oldest of five children. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. He leaves behind his mother and stepfather Javier and Eva Gonzalez, his brothers and sisters in law Orlando and Maritza Vasquez, Frank and Monica Vasquez, Noe and Kim Vasquez and Edward and Sally Vasquez, his sister and brother in law Wayne and Catherine Brummet, his stepbrother and sister in law Javier and Melinda Gonzalez, and his stepsisters Yaranet Marquez and Elizabeth Gonzalez, his nieces and nephews Brooke Harbison, Christen Brummet, Crystal Vasquez, Logan Stuart, Noe Vasquez Jr., Kyle Brummet, Bryan Stuart, Brianna LeDesma, Apryl Stuart, Ericka Vasquez, Josh Sanchez, Brittney LeDesma, Wyndolyn Vasquez, Jon Sanchez, Michael Martinez, Matthew Marquez, Roberta Vasquez, Gabriel Martinez, Mia Vasquez, Brookelyn Gonzalez, Megan Marquez, JJ Gonzalez and his Great niece Addison Brummet. He is also survived by his Aunts and Uncles Mike and Trine Borrego, Irma Bonilla, Blanca Castillo, Julio and Blanca De La Rosa, Alfredo Vasquez, Lila Moreno, Licha Vasquez and too many cousins to list but he loved them all. He was preceded in death by his father Ponciano Vasquez Sr., grandmother Mary Eudy, and great grandmother Eva Arredondo. He leaves us too soon and will be greatly missed by all.
