Phyllis Jane Lindsey, 76, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at her New Caney home with her family by her side. She was born on December 7, 1946 in Kansas City, Missouri to Jack and Lona Enlow.
Phyllis married Frank Lindsey on July 23, 1983. The two were each other's lifelong companions and close friends. Their children included Phyllis Ann, Glenn, Robert and Michael.
She loved cooking, painting and most of all, her family. Phyllis had a passion for horses, collecting crystal figurines, antique furniture, her dogs and for the Christmas season. Phyllis was an avid traveler who enjoyed the beach, mountains and meeting new people, but she loved/enjoyed the most was her time with family.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, Frank Lindsey. Children- Phyllis Ann Lindsey, Glenn Bird and Michael Bird. Grandchildren- Ashley Ann, Amber LeAnn, Casey Russell and Cory Robert, along with a multitude of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father Jack, mother Lona, brother Rodney Benjamin, sister Beverly Tebbe and son Robert Frank Lindsey.
A visitation for Phyllis will be held Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Friday, August 25, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A burial committal will occur Friday, August 25, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM.
