He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 13, 1935 to Herman and Margaret Hardwick and has been married to Jung Hardwick for 30 years.
Phil had worked as an engineer for Boeing and Richmond Power Enterprises and had a passion for sports, traveling, and cooking.
He is survived by his wife, Jung, one son and three daughters.
