Phillip Martinez Cruz was born on August 6th, 1973 in Houston, Texas to the late Mary Elizabeth Cruz. Phillip went to Jefferson Davis High School. Phillip proudly worked at H-E-B as part of the logistics team for twenty-three years.
Phillip was a family man who was a devoted husband to Herlinda Rendon, loving father to Priscilla Valerie, Phillip Lee, and Wendy Jo Cruz. Phillip loved to spend time with his family. He had a great love of music; He played drums and guitar. He loved to watch movies, fish, and go to concerts. Phillip loved to be there for his loved ones in any way that he could.
Phillip passed away on Monday morning, October 28th, 2024 due to complications of Huntington’s disease. He was in hospice care for almost three months prior.
