Quang (Frank) Tran passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021, at the age of 70. He was born on December 30, 1950 in Hung Yen, Vietnam to parents Thuoc Van Tran and Giang Thi Nguyen. Quang immigrated to the United States in 1975 and initially settled in Connecticut, where he graduated from the University of Hartford. He moved to Texas in the 1980s and made Houston his permanent home for his family.
Quang was a kind soul with a big heart who loved his family, friends, and church. He served as the chairman for Christ The Incarnate Word Catholic Church for many years. Quang found joy in being of service to others and enjoyed traveling with his family. He will be deeply missed.
Quang is survived by his wife (Ngoc), three children (Quynh, Tony, Jennifer), and five grandchildren (Damian, Brooke, Connor, Ashton, Noah).
