Peggy Ann Bolin graduated from California High School. She was married to Alfonso Hernandez on August 8, 1998.
Peggy worked at Randall's as a cashier. She was a board member of Houston Center For Independent Living, a member of Southeast Texas Polio Survivors Group and she attended Houston International Church of God and was a member of the choir. Peggy had a passion for singing, cooking and crafts.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents Waldo and Bonnie Bolin and her daughter Twila Best.
She is survived by her loving husband Alfonso Hernandez; children Dawn Griggs, Trena Wacker, David Stephens (Angelia), Tommie Garcia (Lupe), Alfonso Hernandez Jr. (Vanessa) and Jesse Hernandez (Erica); 23 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
A visitation for Peggy will be held Friday, May 20, 2022 from 10:45 AM to 12:45 PM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A celebration of life will occur Friday, May 20, 2022 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A committal service will occur Friday, May 20, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
