Peggy Lucille Duke

Peggy married her true love, Oliver Duke Jr, at the age of 14 on July 12, 1947. They remained married until Oliver’s death on January 6, 2006. They were blessed with four children Betty, Barbara, Charles and David.

Peggy was a devoted wife, mother, Granny and friend to many. Peggy was kind and compassionate, she was a care giver for her husband, children and her in-laws for a long period of time. She stayed busy with cooking, cleaning, yard work, and gardening and always had one or more of the grandchildren, nieces, nephews or neighborhood children with her.

Peggy was preceded in death by her father, William H. Wisener; mother, Violet L. Schisser; Sister, Annabelle Reynolds; brothers, Sonny and James Wisener and husband, Oliver Duke Jr.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Betty Duke and her child Kimberly; daughter, Barbara Windsor and husband Jimmy and their children Mendy and Nathan; son, Charles Duke and wife Sherry and their children Jason and Brian; son, David Duke and wife Brenda and their children Andy and Kevin; Great grandchildren, Justin, Katelyn, Morgan, Ryan, Seth, Madelyn and Haleigh; Great-Great grandchild, Bentley.
