Peggy Dennis

Peggy Dennis was born on August 4, 1924, in New Orleans, LA. She is the daughter of the late Thomas and Edith O’Conner.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Tom D. Dennis; her son, Daniel Reese Dennis; her brother Guy O’Conner, and her sister Edith Mae Kavanagh.

Peggy Dennis was a member of Cinco Ranch Church of Christ, an office assistant, and a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and quilting. Peggy Dennis was a master gardener and an Elder’s wife. She loved to fish and play tennis. But mostly, Peggy Dennis loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Gaye Beer and her husband Edwin, her son, Don Dennis and his wife Cheryl; her five grandchildren and their spouses, Edith and Bill Hillman, JR and Michelle Beer, Cayce and Katy Beer, Kelly and Kevin May, and Danielle Dennis; her six great grandchildren, Mary Hillman, Logan Beer, Rhett Beer, Draya Beer, Ellie Beer, and Taylor Beer. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, June 29, 2019 in the Grand Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.
