Pedro A Medina

Pedro (Pete) Amaro Medina, 90, born to Luis & Catalina Medina on August 1, 1930 in Houston, Texas. Pedro went to be with the Lord on December 9, 2020. Pedro was married to Juanita for 66 years. He belonged to Knights of Columbus Council #8404 affiliated with St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in the Lindale Park community of Houston, Texas. He retired from Mrs. Baird’s Bread Company after 27 years of service along with being the successful owner of multiple barbershops. Pedro was preceded in death by his parents: Luis & Catalina Medina; children: Gloria Medina, David Medina, Albert Medina and son-in-law, Dale Hughes, followed in death by Juanita Hughes; He is survived by children: Ninfa (Bill) Rankin, Pete Richard Medina, Mary (George) Phillips, Cynthia (Johnny) Leal; 19 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; brother: Luis Medina; along with numerous nephews and nieces. A graveside service for Pedro will be held Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be missed greatly.
