Pearl was preceded in death by her parents Pete and Rosalie Mandola Lorino; her loving husband, Lee C. Rao; brothers and sisters, Tom Lorino, Sam Lorino, Mike Lorino, Annie Pizzo, Margaret Lorino, and Lena Triola. She is survived by her son, Luke Rao and wife Vita; her daughter, Antoinette Mattaliano and husband Carl, III; her grandchildren, Lee Rao and wife Monica, Luke Rao and wife Danielle, Nathan Rao, Carl Mattaliano, IV and wife Brittany, Patrice Ricker and husband Aaron and Lauren Ricker and husband A.J.; great-grandchildren Dante, Kyndell, Colby and Baby Rao, Colton, Jacob, Andrew and Baby Ricker; her sister-in-law, Josephine Rao; her loving caregiver, Shelia Polk; and other loving relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 24, 2014 from 10 AM until 11 AM at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, 7810 Cypresswood Drive, Spring, Texas. Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 11 AM, with Rev Fr Norbert Maduzia, celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow in Garden of Gethsemani at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Lee Rao, Luke Rao, Nathan Rao, Carl Mattaliano, IV, Aaron Ricker, A.J. Ricker, Dante Rao and Charles Triola.
Pearl's dedication to family and friends was her life's legacy. She was the definition of the working single mom before working single mom's became the lifestyle norm.
