Paulino Perez Jerez

Paulino was born on October 10, 1941, in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico to his loving parents, Fortunato and Maria E. Jerez. He leaves behind to cherish and treasure his memories his devoted wife of 60 years, Maria Medina Jerez; his son Paul Jerez & wife Laura, daughter Jeannette Jerez-Segundo, daughter Lisa Garza & husband Juan, son Ernest Jerez; his brother Gonzalo Jerez & wife Irma, brother Joe Perez & wife Lupe, brother Carlos Jerez & wife Marylou, sister Naomi Nunez & husband Jimmy, brother Manuel Jerez; and his grandchildren Amanda, Arlene, Danny, Angela, Ernest, Steven, Michael, Eric, Mia, Alex; 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren; he is also survived by many other relatives and a host of good friends.

Paulino had great faith in our Lord and never hesitated to help anyone in need. He was a proud welder for over 50 years and had a love for his favorite baseball team, Houston Astros. Paulino’s kindness will always be remembered by all that he touched and will be dearly missed.

A visitation for Paulino will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Prayer Service at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. Rite of committal will immediately follow.
