Paula H. Mendez, 83, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital in Houston, Texas. She was born on January 25, 1929 in Houston, Texas to Benito Hernandez and Elizabeth Perez Hernandez.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Hernandez, sons, Lupe Mendez, Jesse Mendez, Dennis Mendez, Manuel Mendez, and Andrew Mendez. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 23, 2012 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Advantage Howard Glendale Funeral Home , 1015 Federal Rd. Houston, Texas 77015. A chapel service will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the Advantage Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
