Paul Lawrence Williams

Paul Williams Sr, age 69 of Houston Texas passed away on April 22, 2020. He was born in Hallettsville, TX on May 06, 1950. Paul served 6 years in the United States Army as an MP with the 543rd MP Co.

After receiving an Honorable discharge from the military, Paul began a career as a commercial truck driver, driving for various companies. In the 1977, Paul began a career with Greyhound Bus services and over the span of 37 years; he provided exceptional professionalism and courtesy to the passengers and his fellow employees.

Paul was a devoted Christian and member of Greenspoint Baptist church under the leadership of Rev. Victor G Williams. Paul had a passion for Gospel and Country music, which he enjoyed listening both to continuously in his free time.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years Gloria Williams, there children Jermey Williams, Paul Williams II., Judith Williams, Kimberly Darton, Reginald Griffin and his siblings, Alton Williams Sr, Norma Stafford, Lula Powell, Delores McClure, Judith Giles, Alberta Herring, Julius Williams Jr, and Diane Stevens along his grandchildren, Malik Williams, Brayden Williams, Abigail Williams, Caiden Williams, Keria Darton, Jiovanni Griffin, Alana Griffin and Kayla Salazar. He also has numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Julius Williams Sr. and Louella Williams, sister Alfrasia Williams and brother Cecil Williams.
