Paul Leytone Vallier, Jr. was born in Houston, Texas on February 12, 1937 to Paul Vallier, Jr. and Lottie Allen Vallier. He attended Blackshear Elementary, Jack Yates Senior High School (Class of ‘59), Bishop College, and Texas Southern University. He worked at WKM and Engineer Fabricators (EFCO). Paul accepted Christ as his personal savior and was baptized by Rev. John Moore at Pilgrim Congregational. As a loving husband, dad, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, he extended a wealth of love and kindness to everyone he encountered. His warm and genuine smile, along with his gentle spirit created lasting relationships. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Vallier, Sr. and Lottie Allen Vallier; brother, Ronald Vallier; and grandson, Joseph R. Phillips, III (Trey). Paul is survived by his loving wife: Ella; children: Terry Phillips (Joseph, Jr.), Sharon Brinkley (Antonio, Sr.), Erica Vallier, and Craig Vallier; brother: Jerald Vallier; brother-in-law: Frank Henry (Freddie); sister-in-laws: Hattie Love and Theresa Reddic; grandchildren: Antonio, Jr, Blake, Kylin, Craig, Jr., and Corey; nieces: Ronda Randle, Anita Vallier, Rachelle Hawkins (Leslie), Angela Vallier, Tamika Henry, and Lytonia Lewis; nephews: Virgil Lewis and Robert Lewis; and a host of other relatives and friends. Paul was a family man with close knit family values and often opened his home to the neighborhood kids. He was also a beloved father figure to Ronda Randle, Anita Vallier, and Shante’ McClendon.
