I have been going to Paul for many, many years, starting when I had much more hair to cut. As I got less hair, it took Paul less time to cut it and this allowed more of my appointment time to talk. Was worth it to lose the hair, and to get to know Paul better.  We talked about our families and Paul taught me about old movies, especially old Westerns that were his specialty. I remember him telling me about his visit to see some of the Western scenery locations where old movies were filmed. Paul could make anybody’s hair look good, but Paul said his grandson was his most particular customer. As his grandson grew up, he kept changing his hair-cut style to keep up with the other kids at school. So Paul would have to buy new equipment and gels to keep up too. You could feel Paul’s love for family as he laughed about trying to keep up with a then ten year old. I will truly miss Paul. Rest In peace, my friend. 

Was sad to learn today of Paul's passing.  Besides being the most skilled hairstylist I have ever been to, he was equally great to visit with.  I always enjoyed our conversations, and will miss the wide variety of subjects we covered in our 30 minutes together.  I believe what I admired most about Paul was his upbeat nature.  I don't think I ever saw him in a bad mood in going to him for almost 20 years.  He was a true gentleman.  I will miss him.  

Hello to Paul's family. Like all of you and his many friends I was taken aback by the news of his unexpected passing. You the family are in my prayers. I was a client of Paul for more than 30 years. He enjoyed describing his family especially his grandchildren. In recent years we had many discussions around the dogs we rescued and cared for. For some reasons dogs seem to recognize kind hearted humans and Paul was certainly such an individual. I will miss Paul and the discussions we shared about his family and dogs. May God speed your sadness today into fond memories tomorrow.

Paul became a friend I looked forward to seeing.  I would often go to get a haircut during a hectic week and always left feeling relaxed and uplifted by his friendly spirit and good conversation.  We shared stories about growing up in Houston.  He often spoke of his family.  I was impressed by his very clear memories of his youth and he seemed to have many good memories.  Paul impressed me as having a positive outlook.  As others have said, he was a gentleman.  I will miss our conversations but I am grateful to have known him.

I am so very sorry to learn of Paul's passing.
He was my barber for 45 years.  
Of course, I will miss his haircuts, but, most of all, I'll miss his warm personality and the hundreds of conversations we shared, since 1975.

Paul was my good friend for many years. I was a customer but, more importantly, he and  I shared many of life’s ups and downs as friends. He was kind, perceptive and caring. He was also a friend of my grandsons and always asked about them and loved to share stories about them . I loved Paul and will miss him very much.

Paul and I have been friends for 50+ years. We met when a friend recommended him to cut my hair back in 1969 when Paul was working on Audley for Norris. Although I saw Paul sparingly in my "long-hair" college years, I immediately came back when I had to get a "real" job in the 70's, and I never left. We shared a love of music, and we always talked rock 'n roll and Tejano. He loved Sir Doug Sahm, the Bill Black Combo, Gene Thomas and, of course, Elvis. If the Righteous Brothers are right, and there's a "Rock 'n Roll Heaven", then I know Paul is there. My love and condolences to all his family, and to my dear friend Paul, rest in peace.

Since 1974, Paul has been cutting my hair and sharing pleasant visits. I saw him last a month ago, and, as usual, he shook my hand as I left and said he’d see me next time. Oh my, there won’t be a next time. I’ll miss Paul.

I first met Paul when I brought my son to Norris for his 1 year old haircut…this was 36 years ago!  From this first encounter, I immediately liked Paul, and ever since, he had been cutting my hair too.  Over the years, Paul has shared his wisdom, humor and love for his family, and his uncanny ability to converse in detail on movies, sports and Houston history.  Paul always shared a big smile and rarely complained.  He was always very loyal and respectful of his Norris/Eliana team.  Paul will be terribly missed.   To his family, I wish to extend  my condolences, prayers and deepest sympathies for their loss.

I just got a call from his daughter-in-law Jimmie that Paul Munoz passed away. I will be praying for his family and friends.
I met Paul Munoz at Norris of Houston. He was such a gentleman and had a kind spirit.  Loved his style, his spirit will always be in my heart!! May he rest in power!

Paul will be missed.  I was introduced to Paul when I went to lunch with “Big John Bowers” 50+ years ago. I saw Paul once a month for the next 50+ years.
We shared life as families and kids grew and we aged.
There will be a void in my life.
I will always remember our joyous times together.

To the family of Paul Munoz:
Paul has been cutting my son's (Gunnar) hair and occasionally my hair for almost 10 years.  Although I've known him much longer, having been a client of Rick Womack, who cuts hair in the cubicle next to Paul.  Paul and I got to know each other well.  
While he was working, he always seemed at peace.  When he'd cut my son's hair, I always knew Paul would be smiling and sometimes he'd have a gift for my son; once it was a trick with a dollar bill.  I never heard him curse, complain or gossip about anyone or anything.  In short, Paul was a gentleman.  And a  man that I could tell from conversing, loved his family deeply, and it appeared, enjoyed his work.

Paul was my brother-in-law and I will never forget him. To me he was a great man.  We took different paths in life but through the years we always kept in touch. His dad and mom were God parents to my oldest son. I am saddened by the sudden loss, I had just talked to Paul two weeks ago and we were planning to get together soon. My prayes go out to his family. Paul may you rest in peace my friend.💕💔

Words can not express the loss of a wonderful person like Paul.  I got to know Paul through our children.  Paul never considered his sons wives as daughters in law they were his daughters.  And the love he had for his grandchildren was beyond anything you could imagine.  I had the honor to call him family because that's how he made me feel I wasn't just his daughter in law's mom.  I will miss you Paul until we meet again.  I'll keep and eye on the boys for you

Paul, I will always carry you in my heart...Not because you were my oldest brother. But because you taught me so many things growing up. I will miss your phone calls about family and the family tree. Our talks about movie classics, music. But most of all just asking me "what ya doing Sis" Thanks Big Brother, I Love You with all my heart and soul. Give mom and dad a big hug.
