Paul Edward Light, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. Paul was born April 29, 1935 in Derby, Virginia to Ervy and Bessie May Light. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronnie Skeen; sister, Mary Gunn; great granddaughter, Millie Cervantes. He is survived by his wife, Mary Light; brother, Donnie Skeen; sister, Linda Hamilton; brother, Carl Light; daughter, Cathy Light and James Kretschmer; daughter, Pauleen Currey and husband Bernest; 3 grandchildren, Paula Acosta, Tina Cervantes, and Travis Currey; 4 great-grandchildren, Braedon Burris, Anna Cervantes, Cruz Cervantes, and Zander Currey. He is loved and will be missed by his family and all that knew him. Paul was a 20 year Air Force Veteran and a devoted family man.
A visitation for Paul will be held Friday, August 21, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, Texas 77008. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Paul will be laid to rest at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, Texas 77038.
