Patrick Joseph Rathbun

Patrick Rathbun was born in Englewood N.J. He got his BS in Marine Transportation Management. He worked most of his life on oil tankers. He progressed through the ranks to master unlimited tonnage. He was currently the director of operations at Ocean Shipholdings.

Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Patrick Rathbun.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Melissa, daughters Nicole, Amanda and River, his Grandson, Lucas. His mother Janet Hess and sisters Elizabeth, Susan and Sharon, also his nephew and god son Matthew. Plus a host of friends and extended family to mourn his death.

To Patrick, family was everything. He loved spending time hunting and having camp fires. He was a kind, respected, lighthearted man. He enjoyed talking with people and entertaining them with memories and sea tales.

He is a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He had a heart of service and helped anyone he could by any means. He loved sharing his life with his family spending time with River and Lucas.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 7, 2021 followed by graveside services.
