Pat’s journey began on May 22, 1938 in the great city of New Orleans, Louisiana. Many fond memories were relived throughout the years of his life there in the city and “across the water” growing up in Mandeville. Pat met his future wife, Cathy Moran, in New Orleans and they were married in January 1962. He devoted his love to Cathy for 55 wonderful years. The greatest blessing of their union is their son, John J. Allison. Pat was a devoted father and husband; family was everything to him. Pat, an “old soul” at heart loved to read, he loved history, especially historical subjects relating to baseball, US Presidents, and of course New Orleans. Pat enjoyed watching sports and rooting on his beloved Chicago Cubs and New Orleans Saints.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents Lance and Ruth Allison of New Orleans, LA, his Uncle Carl and Aunt Claire Bruning of New Orleans, his Uncle Mack Bruning of New Orleans, his brother in law Allen Wayne Litton of Baytown, TX, brother in law Roger Wienhusen of Metairie, La, nephew Richie Wienhusen also of Metairie, brother in law Roy Euper of Oklahoma and sisters in law Patsy Euper of Oklahoma, Joyce Wienhusen of Metairie, and Merl Sanamo of Metairie.
Pat is survived by his wife Cathy Moran Allison, devoted son John J. Allison, daughter-in-law Julie Stanczuk Allison of Pearland, in laws Dennis and Rosemary Stanczuk of Loudon, TN and their children John Stanczuk and Katie Jones and their families and the joys of his life, his grandson Matthew and granddaughter Ellie Allison. Aunt Shirley Bruning of Metairie, LA and nephew Matthew Bivalacqua also of Metairie.
Pat was devoted to Cathy’s family in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. Pat leaves behind Cathy’s sisters and his brothers in law - Jennie and Bobby Pippin, Fred Moran III, Mary Moran Litton and Donna Moran Holliday. Nephews Bobby Pippin Jr., Grady Moran, Jason Litton, Gregg Rounds, Fred Wienhusen, Roger Wienhusen, Rodney Wienhusen, Jerry Sanamo and their families. Nieces Michele Luttrell and Melissa Sanamo and their families.
Pat was a lover of animals; he absolutely adored the dogs he kept throughout the years.
