Patricia Ann Nwanjo

Born May 29, 1955 to Author Geter and Marilyn Sampson. Every since a young age she was a joy to be around; always there to make you laugh and of course keep it all the way real with whomever crossed her path. Patricia had a pretty solid upbringing with the love of her mother Marilyn and step father Lewis Sampson. She was the oldest of her mom's seven children and being the oldest and taking charge was always a breeze for her. She grew up in what is known as "The Westend" part of Houston, TX where everyone was family whether related or not. Patricia graduated from Reagan High School. She committed 20 years of her life to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center working in the Housekeeping department. Dedicated and devoted member of Holy Ghost Ground Deliverance Pentecostal Church for over 15 years under the leadership of Bishop Thomas A Washington and First Lady Lula Mae Washington. She worked faithfully on the usherboard. On July 1, 2017 Patricia passed away peacefully at Kindred Hospital in Sugar Land, TX. Her mom Marilyn Sampson, dad Author Geter and sister Charlotte Hogg preceded her in death. Patricia leaves to cherish great memories three children; Jimmy Hogg(LaTarsha), Cheryl Thorns(James) and Ashley Bowie(Stephen); eleven grandchildren; Jalin, Jakobe, Deandrea, Breanna,Ja'Nya,Jurnee,Harmani,Jayla, Logan, Skye and Londyn;two brothers; Al Gene Hogg and Donny Hogg(Shinshalla); three sisters; Jackie Jones(Charles), Joslyn Hogg,Roslyn Ward(Homer) and Joyce Champs(God sister) and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
