Patricia Ann Matheny, age 85, of Missouri City, Texas passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. Patricia was born April 4, 1936 and grew up in Bellaire, TX. Her parents were Dorothy Ard Grigsby and Jack B. Grigsby, both of whom preceded her in death.
Patricia was a 1954 graduate of Lamar High School in Houston and in 1958, a graduate of Texas Tech University. She was a Home Economist and worked for a utility company in Chicago, IL for 30 years. She was a member of HEIB. Patricia loved sailing on Lake Michigan, traveling, and updating her 90-year-old Chicago bungalow.
After retiring, Patricia moved back to Texas. She volunteered at the Sugar Land Community Center for many years.
Patricia is survived by her close relatives, Jay and Carolyn Inman, and numerous other cousins, relatives, and friends.
A graveside service for Patricia will be held Friday, November 12, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
