Patricia Lewis was born October 24, 1951 to the late Rodney Griffith Sr. and Ovannah Griffin. She was raised in Bayou Chicot, Louisiana. She became a Christian at an early age becoming part of Morning Star Church in Bayou Chicot.
She went to Chicot Elementary and Stevens High School. Moved to Houston in 1975. She worked for 39 years at the Harris County Hospital District – (JD Hospital & LBJ Hospital with perfect attendance.
Patricia married her husband in 1989, Mr. J.L. Lewis. She had two children, Alfredia and Demarcus.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. Rodney Griffith Sr. And Ms. Ovannah Griffin, her brothers Rodney Griffith Jr. and Lance Williams Jr. and her great-granddaughter Aaliyah Monet Nichols.
Patricia leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Alfredia Porter and husband Willie Porter; her son Demarcus Lewis and wife Ashley Lewis; her brothers Johnny Williams, Eric Williams, Melvin Wilder, Carl Wilder and Paul Griffith; her grandchildren Britney Downey, Brea Porter, Demari Gilliam, Alazeih Lewis; her great-grandchildren Isaiah Nichols and Elijah Beck.
